Argentine Dogfighting is widely practiced in most of Latin America, especially in Argentina, Peru and many parts of Brazil (where dogfighting is illegal). The Dogo Argentino is by far the most common breed for this bloody sport. The Fila Brasileiro breed is also used. The American Pit Bull Terrier is another popular dog breed that is commonly seen in dog fights.
