Most of the world consumption of corn is in Mexico. There, on average, one person accounts for 90 kg of this product per year. In second place is the United States, with half the rate.
The sugar content in corn is very high, but up to 50% of its reserves break down within 5-7 hours after the ear has been plucked from the stalk.

About 1000 varieties of corn have been bred by breeders. There are even multi-colored ones, and in the Glass Jam variety, on even one cob, the seeds differ in color.
