Did you know that Hippos are the ultimate water lovers? 🌊🦛

They spend most of their day soaking in rivers and lakes to stay cool and hydrated. But don't let their cute looks fool you - these gentle giants are known to be quite territorial and can be quite dangerous if provoked. I once saw a hippo yawn so wide that I thought I could see the whole world in its mouth!

😂🌎 But all jokes aside, it's important to give these magnificent creatures the respect they deserve and admire them from a safe distance. Have you ever had a close encounter with a hippo?

🐘 Elephants' skin color can vary depending on the region where they live. For instance, elephants living in the sandy regions of Tanzania may have a lighter color than those living in the forest areas, which can be darker due to the different amounts of sunlight they are exposed to.

➡️Additionally, the skin of older elephants may have a more weathered appearance due to exposure to the elements over time.

🦬The Great Migration in Serengeti Park is one of the most spectacular natural phenomena in the world. It is an annual cycle of movement of millions of animals across the plains of eastern Africa, including wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle, and their predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas.

🦛This migratory cycle usually begins in December or January, when the female wildebeest give birth to their young. Then the herds begin to move north across the Serengeti plains in search of fresh food. Over the months, the herds divide and regroup several times depending on environmental conditions, seasons and predators.

🦓During the migration, the animals cross crocodile-infested rivers, arid plains and forested areas. Their journey usually ends in July or August, when the herds return south to the greener, richer pastures of the Serengeti.

🌱This natural phenomenon is not only an incredible sight to see, but it is also crucial to the ecosystem of the region. The movement of the animals brings nutrients into the surrounding ecosystems, promoting the growth of plants and trees, which in turn allows other animal species to thrive.
