On December 1, 2024, CDO and Mvomero District Council hosted a meaningful commemoration at Mlali Market under the theme *"Chagua njia sahihi tokomeza UKIMWI" (Choose the Right Path to )."* The event brought together over 1,000 people for prevention education, family planning advice, and reproductive health sessions. Key achievements included 150 people voluntarily tested for , over 50 people referred for care, and 60+ people donating blood. With an inspiring message from the Mlali Ward Councilor, the day showcased the power of community collaboration and reinforced CDO’s commitment to reducing infections, empowering young women, and creating healthier futures for all.

Adolescent girls and young women are catalysts for change to help end HIV/AIDS as a public health threat. collaborates with Health Services Facilities/ Providers and communities to conduct HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, and testing for adolscents and young women.

Over 90 adolescents from Kinda,Ndole,Mvomero and Mkindo Villages in Mvomero DC voruntarily tested for HIV and they stand to be the peer educators for their fellows in these communities. Project.
