This isn't just a group photo; it's a collective force. From December 15-19, young women leaders from across the continent convened, united by the 2025 theme: "Advancing Young Women's Leadership, Advocacy and Voice in Africa Agri-Food Systems."
Honoured to stand among them, representing University of Iringa & Kiota Hub. A deep bow to the organisers PAFO, funders AGRA, and facilitators Centafrique Limited for investing in us.
The conversations have started, the connections are solid. Now, watch us act.
Just stepped into a room where the future of Africa's Agri-Food Systems is being redefined!
Beyond proud to have represented the University of Iringa and Kiota Hub at the Young Women Leaders in Agro-Food Systems training at Kigali, Rwanda by our Hub Coordinator Ms. Mary Msigwa.
For five transformative days (Dec 15-19), we dove deep into advocacy and policy, fuelled by the 2025 theme: "Advancing Young Women's Leadership, Advocacy and Voice."
Grateful for the selection, charged with new knowledge, and ready to use this platform to advocate for change.
Our voice in agriculture is not just needed; it's essential.
