Helicopter Scenic Flight

Overview

The excursion will start from Arusha airport, and heading to Lake Natron in the hot valley floor. As we fly up the lake you will see its ever changing colors - reds, purples and oranges, a consequence of its algae rich water which attracts numerous flocks of flamingos.

We will continue on to fly around the coolest active volcano in the world, Ol Doinyo Lengai, and peer into its ever changing crater. Weather permitting we will land and take a 30 minute hike to the crater. Climbing back up the Rift Valley we will come to our final stop at Empakai Crater where we will land for our picnic or fly back to Arusha / Lake Manyara.

You will be met by a shaz zanzibar team at yourvprefered destinations or at Arusha Airport and flown in a high performance helicopter Airbus helicopters AS350/B3 or H125 with a seating capacity of 5 to 6 passengers.
