Have you ever noticed how, sometimes, even during moments of 'relaxation', you may not actually feel quite so relaxed?
Your body is slightly tensed.
Your thoughts are anywhere but in the present moment.
Your breath is fast & shallow.
That's the funny thing about life: external circumstances can help you to relax, but you are really the one driving your inner experience. And in your inner experience, you may never know how to deeply relax & regulate.
Deep relaxation, or regulation, is intentionally practiced, otherwise it passes you by...
Sometimes being in Nature, seeing something awe-inspiring, can spontaneously trigger this sense of regulation & regulation without you even having to try.
But maintaining this state and knowing how to bring it back online is the key. This is the state in which deep healing & integration happens.
It's why I spent years studying this response, how to amplify it within us, whilst deeply being with our humanity. I teach my clients the same.
If this sort of Mind-Body integration resonates with you, send me a DM and let's work together ✨

It came as a bit of a surprise when my top song this year was Listen With Your Heart from the Pocahontas soundtrack ✨
The surprise was because I hadn't realised I'd listened to it as much as I had this year, making it go all the way to my No. 1 - but the unsurprising part is that I've indeed had to lean deeeeeply into cultivating the skill of listening to my heart, especially this year. Starting my own consultancy, working with patients and clients as a practitioner, sitting in their suffering to understand, identify, and bring about balance, navigating my own dharma and role in this world... It's been a lot of listening with my heart Vs being caught in my Ego.
This year has been blessed, precious, and even with its many hardships - still one of the best in my life 🙏🏼 thank you to ALL my amazing clients and patients - you've been some of my greatest teachers this year 🙏🏼
Also, if you haven't heard this song before, it's a short one, but so beautiful I can't recommend it enough!

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of going for the most delicious fun and vegan Harry-Potter themed dinner hosted by
Here is my meal from that day - a medley of gluten-free, vegan scrumptiousness: pasta with sauce, baked tofu, and salad with edible flowers.
And yes - on the third slide is vegan Butterbeer! And it was exactly like how I thought it would be! 🥹
How you eat your food can be as important as what you eat. When you're stressed, distracted, and disconnected from your food - you will not digest it as well. Ayurveda also talks about how the energy with which one's food is prepared impacts digestion. The love behind this meal was certainly palpable - and for this, I thank you and Jacinda 🤗 friends in Singapore - do check them out if you're looking for new delicious food options!

Nutrition post on Sesame -- sesame seeds are a wonderful whole foods source of important nutrients like iron, calcium, zinc and potassium. If you follow a seed cycling protocol for your menstrual cycle, they're an important seed to take during your luteal phase.
Here I had a delicious dairy-free coffee-free black sesame soy latte, to support my luteal phase and increase my body's chances for absorbing said nutrients!
How do you like to have black sesame?

Nutrition Post - dinner from the other day, which I ate at 430pm: grilled sea bass in banana leaf, grilled rice, and steamed veggies. Very simple and very delicious!
Another aspect of nutrition I like to talk to clients about is the question of WHEN to eat. At the appropriate meal time seems like the obvious answer, but in today's world of easy access to food, we've become so used to eating at meal times (or whenever else) that we don't actually pay attention to whether we're really hungry or not. A more accurate answer should thereby be that we should eat only when we feel TRULY hungry. For many people, they may not know what true hunger feels like in their bodies. For some, it's a rumbly tummy, for others it could be fatigue - as a practitioner I've found that true hunger manifests differently in everyone. When you are truly hungry though, your body is primed to digest and assimilate the food you are about to give it to the best of your ability - and this is soo important for optimal digestion.
Do you eat only when you feel true hunger?
