We receive many inquiries from overseas Taiwanese families and foreign families working in Taiwan asking how to enroll their children in local schools.
If you are planning to spend an extended period of time in Taiwan, one option to consider is Xinsheng Elementary School (新生國小). It's one of the most popular and highly coveted elementary school in Taipei city.
In addition to welcoming overseas Taiwanese families, the school also accepts children of foreign professionals who are employed by Taiwanese public or private institutions
(受聘於本國公、民營機關之外籍人士子女).
They offer dedicated support classes for students returning from abroad, including native English speakers transitioning into the local system.
The enrollment process does involve paperwork and documentation, but for families committed to strengthening their children’s Mandarin in a full local environment, it can be well worth the effort.

We just wrapped up a wonderful, very last minute impromptu private camp for a busy mom from Florida who wanted her two young kids to take Mandarin beyond the classroom and into real life.
In just one week, the kids spent their mornings learning Mandarin, then jumped into real immersion in the afternoons, making sweet potato desserts, playing, laughing, and making new friends with local Taiwanese kids. So much joy all around.
🙏Due to popular demand, our Summer 2026 Sessions 2 and 3 are now currently full, and we’re excited to open a new session for interested parents!
🚩Session 4: Eat, Play, Taipei (July 27–August 3, 2026): Kids will eat their way through Taipei while discovering local snacks, parks, and favorite kid-friendly spots around the city.
Details and registration will open by early next week. Stay tuned!

❄️✨ Fun Taiwan Winter Camp 2026 Wrap-Up! ✨❄️
The cold and the rain did not deter our campers from having a good time. On the last day of camp, they rode the Maokong Gondola, visited a tea farm, and made mini tea packets.
The children wrote their New Year wishes in Chinese calligraphy and sealed them with tea leaves in envelopes.
What an amazing way to end the season and welcome 2026! 💛
