These past few days, we had friends visiting from Canada, so we took them up into the mountains for a hike.
We just wanted to show them how beautiful Taiwan’s mountains are… and somehow, we stumbled into an English garden.
And I mean—a proper one.
Perfectly trimmed grass, everything looking a little too refined for being up on a mountain 😆
The whole place felt so calm and put together, like even breathing there made you feel slightly more sophisticated.
But honestly, the best part wasn’t the garden.
It was us— standing in this very elegant space, laughing way too loudly and talking about completely random things.
That contrast somehow made it even better.
I guess that’s what I love about spaces like this— they don’t have to be perfect, they just have to hold a moment.
