The Pointe -a- Pierre Constituency by unanimous resolution at its Constituency Representatives Meeting held on Tuesday 7th August, reinforces its full and unreserved endorsement of the August 5th Cabinet reshuffle effected by the Hon Prime Minister, and further expresses its unequivocal confidence in the astute leadership of Dr. Keith Christopher Rowley.

The decision to appoint and affirm the Hon.Stuart Young to be Minister of Comm. & National Security, Hon. Edmund Dillon to be new Minister of Housing, Hon. Maxie Cuffie to be the Parliamentary Sec. in Ministry of Public Administration and the Hon. Marlene McDonald to resume her duties as Minister of Public Administration epitomises sound judgement and exemplifies capable leadership. We have every confidence that all parties will discharge their portfolios with honour and distinction.

We acknowledge and fully endorse the Hon. Prime Minister's decision to place increased startegic emphasis on crime interdiction. The innovative approach adopted to counteracting the scourge of crime, coupled with the appointment of the country's newest Commissioner of Police, augers well for our nation.

The Constituency will continue to work in partnership with our Party's leadership towards the realisation of a safer, more harmonious society.
