Why go to church? It’s one of the place where collectively we can hear the word of God, learn and grow as a disciple. It’s where prayer and worship, fellowship and breaking of bread takes place. Don’t just attend but be fitted to the body of Christ as his bride waiting for the bridegroom to come. 🙌🏽

📖 Bear the fruit of Love, for God is Love. If we get love right we get life right.
Jesus said:
“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”
John 15:12 NKJV

Loving each other is the practical side of what life is about. The love I have for Jesus is revealed as it’s expressed to others. It demonstrates that I abide in his love.

We are so positioned to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the earth. Love your neighbors as much as you love yourselves, it’s an overflow of your love for God.
Our neighbors are those who God has placed on our path of life.

When God sends people along our path, the love we express is how we will know how much God we have in us.

Will we shut up our bowls of compassion? (See Luke 10:25-35)

Everytime God puts someone in our path and we past the other side we are making noise. (See 1 Corinthians 13:1)

The cross is the signature mark of the believer. If that which we have received in our relationship with God (the vertical part), has not been lived out with our fellow men (the horizontal part), then we have not learnt or abide in love. God is love, If you keep his commandments, we will abide in his love.

“But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?”
I John 3:17 NKJV
