Arthroscopy of the hand and wrist
With wrist arthroscopy, all cartilage surfaces of the wrist bones, the ligaments between the bones and the position changes between the bones can be observed.
Sometimes pain, limitation of movement, abnormal sound and swelling persist for a long time after traumas. In the presence of these problems, arthroscopy is a very useful method for confirming the diagnosis after various examinations, determining and evaluating the damage, and deciding on the treatment option.
In the wrist, just like in the knee, there is a meniscus structure called TFCC (triangular fibrocartilage, or wrist meniscus), which is responsible for transferring the loads on the wrist to the forearm. This meniscus is crescent-shaped; it has no vascular structure to provide its own nutrition. Its blood supply is through absorption from the outside to the inside. Therefore, injuries occurring in areas with less blood supply on the inner side are difficult to heal. Wrist arthroscopy is the best treatment method for the diagnosis and treatment of these lesions.

The New Generation Robotic Surgery System provides significant advantages for the patient and surgeon in partial and total knee replacement surgeries performed by Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialists.
The system provides a safer operation by not allowing even a millimetric error in the operation, while providing a faster and painless recovery thanks to its features of protecting the full ligaments in the knee and minimizing tissue trauma.
Knee replacement with robotic surgery is an advanced technology that emerged as a result of the combination of advanced medical technology and advanced engineering science, allowing the orthopedic and traumatology specialist to determine the patient's anatomy and to apply the implants in the most appropriate and balanced way.

There are structures called tendons for bending and unbending our fingers. These tendons come from our elbow to the tip of our fingers through some tunnels. Trigger finger disease occurs as a result of compression of the tendon while passing through the tunnel in the first joint of the finger. With this disease, locking occurs in the person's finger. The person cannot straighten the bent finger and tries to straighten it with the other hand. However, he/she also has to cope with the pain.
Trigger finger is especially seen in people who use their finger a lot. Examples include people who use computers or do manual labor. On the other hand, it is more common in women and people over the age of 40. Diabetics are more at risk.

Why does it occur?
It is understood that muscle tears in the shoulder develop during the aging process. As we get older, sometimes a small tear may develop and become more severe over time or with trauma. Sports traumas and falls at a young age can also result in muscle tears in shoulder joint dislocations. This is not a tear caused by degenerative aging.
What are the Symptoms?
A muscle tear causes the patient to be painful, to have night pain and to be unable to lie on the shoulder. There is a painful arc of motion. Sometimes, if there is a full-thickness tear, movement can be completely lost. However, since 4 groups of muscles produce joint movement, the movement may be preserved.
How is it diagnosed?
Tears are diagnosed by ultrasonography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with definitions such as small partial tears and large full-thickness tears.

Minimally invasive surgical procedures have developed and become popular in recent years. Wrist arthroscopy has matured with these advances and has become a widely accepted technique. The complex anatomy of the wrist presents diagnostic challenges in cases of injury and chronic pain. Arthroscopic interventions allow for minimal surgical dissection and better visualization, which may lead to better classification of lesions and therefore better treatment, while postoperative pain is less and recovery time is shorter.
