Haytap - Animal Rights Federation in Turkey

From our HAYTAP Bergama Retirement Sanctuary for Animals, we wish everyone a happy weekend.

At our farm, there are no chains, no cages. There is peace, there is freedom, and most importantly, there is an abundance of love. 💗💗

As of June 2026, HAYTAP has launched a comprehensive field inspection tour across the country to assess, document, and report on the current status of the support and permanent equipment donations we have provided over the years.

Our first stop in the Western Black Sea region was the Çaycuma Rehabilitation Center in Zonguldak. During our visit, we witnessed firsthand that the surgical equipment and intensive care units established in 2023 through the collaboration of HAYTAP and Eti are still actively being used.

We would like to emphasize an important point: for many years, HAYTAP has been providing equipment and material support to numerous shelters and rehabilitation centers. Our sole purpose is to help ensure that animals arriving at these facilities, both now and in the future, can receive treatment under better conditions. Institutions, management teams, and local practices may change over time; however, an operating table or an intensive care device can continue saving thousands of lives for many years.

The purpose of these videos is not to praise any institution or overlook possible shortcomings. Rather, it is to transparently demonstrate how the support provided years ago continues to contribute to the lives of animals today. What matters to us is not a particular institution or administration, but the tangible benefit received by the animals.

For this reason, we do not provide our support as unconditional donations. Instead, equipment is entrusted to institutions under a right-of-use arrangement. If we determine that equipment is not being used effectively or is being used outside its intended purpose, we reclaim it and redirect it to areas where there is a genuine need.
