At the evening hours of July 15, 2016, a coup attempt was made by traitors against our Country, State and Nation. We comprehend that those traitors infiltrated into the imperturbable and honorable Turkish Armed Forces and the said coup attempt was made by those infiltrated traitors. Our great-hearted nation, out of patience and for the sake of democracy, poured into the streets and stopped the coup junta. We are proud of being a member of this great-hearted nation.

The traitors were rebuffed by our people and the democracy won this war. We have absolute confidence that the ones planning this uprising will be imposed the heaviest penalty. Our faith in our country and state is refreshed thanks to the defeat of this attempt against our unity and solidarity by our people. Those enemies daring this uprising martyred many people including civilians, soldiers and law enforcement officers. May God rest their souls in peace! We express our gratitude to our people banded together during this coup attempt and thank to all of our political parties, especially the Government of the Republic of Turkey, for showing such a uniform attitude in these hard times.
