Curae Memoria: Çocukluk Topografyalarında Kronofotografik Atlas
(Curae Memoriae in the Chronophotographic Atlas of Childhood Topographies)
This study approaches memory not as a fixed narrative, but as a structure that is continuously formed and transformed through processes. Personal archives, family photographs, and transformed urban spaces in Istanbul constitute the starting point of this inquiry. In this context, the Istanbul Sailing Club is considered as a site of excavation situated between the family archive and public history. Within the project, this site functions not merely as a point of reference, but as a surface that renders the layered formations of memory visible.
Bu çalışma, hafızayı sabit bir anlatı olarak değil, süreç içinde kurulan ve değişen bir yapı olarak ele alır. Kişisel arşivler, aile fotoğrafları ve İstanbul’daki dönüşmüş mekânlar bu sürecin başlangıç noktasını oluşturur. İstanbul Yelken Kulübü, bu bağlamda, aile arşivi ile kamusal tarih arasında konumlanan bir kazı alanı olarak ele alınacaktır. Bu mekân, projede yalnızca bir referans noktası değil, hafızanın katmanlaşma biçimlerini görünür kılan bir yüzey olarak işlev görür.
