REMEMBERING MAY // The AGU Arch. Studio Takeover

Here are some pics and views from our recent Studio Takeover at AGU School of Architecture, back in Kayseri. Following a week of actual project reviews, we had a chance to reflect on their communication skills, right upon the printed works, and with no deadline pressure and hermetic tendencies whatsoever :)

Color codes, visual characteristics, the importance of being singled out & uniqueness; the 'transformative' instances of architectural drawings & their much subjective quality, diagrams, line-weights and layouts..all of it over the table.

Following the desk crits, a small and spontaneous lecture through my past work; looking at examples of representation, development of ideas, 'parallel inquiries', Google Images, words, models and customized drawings.

Always nice to have them big and on the screen; sharing their underlying stories with individuals and re-discovering them altogether.

Thanks to the AGU Faculty & Community for their invitation, and to the eager students of 2nd & 3rd Year Design for a great & productive couple of days. Hoping to comeback soon and catch up with everyone !

The Faculty of Architecture of AGU was kind enough to invite me once again to engage with the students and for contemplation over representational techniques & visual communication. It is now time for post-reviews. Can't wait to see some great work and meet rest of the faculty !
