The confidence index in the Turkish economy increased by 2.1% during May 2022

This came in a statement by the Turkish Statistics Authority, on Thursday, about the monthly economic confidence index.

The statement pointed out that the confidence index increased by 2.1 percent compared to last April, explaining that the recording of this increase came as a result of the rise in consumer confidence indicators, the services sector and retail trade.

The consumer confidence index in May increased by 0.4 percent to 67.6 points on a monthly basis.

While the retail trade sector confidence index increased by 1.7 percent to 121.4 points, and the services sector confidence index increased by 6.1 percent to 121.7 points.

The economic confidence index is a composite index that contains assessments and expectations of consumers and producers about the general economic situation

Bu, Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu tarafından Perşembe günü aylık ekonomik güven endeksi hakkında bir açıklamada geldi.

Açıklamada, güven endeksinin geçen Nisan ayına göre yüzde 2,1 oranında arttığına dikkat çekilerek, bu artışın kaydedilmesinin tüketici güven göstergeleri, hizmetler sektörü ve perakende ticaretten kaynaklandığı belirtildi.

Mayıs ayında tüketici güven endeksi yüzde 0,4 artarak 67,6 puana yükseldi.

Perakende ticaret sektörü güven endeksi yüzde 1,7 artarak 121,4 puana, hizmetler sektörü güven endeksi ise yüzde 6,1 artarak 121,7 puana yükseldi.

Ekonomik güven endeksi, tüketicilerin ve üreticilerin genel ekonomik duruma ilişkin değerlendirmelerini ve beklentilerini içeren bileşik bir endekstir.

While the average price of an apartment in Turkey amounted to 924,345 Turkish liras, and the average investment life for construction throughout Turkey was 19 years.
