- TIMUN: Tunisian International Model United Nations:
Our main activity is to organize MUNs, or simulations of the United Nations.
A Model United Nations (MUN or Model UN), is a simulation of the United Nations which aims to train participants in international negotiations. These simulations aim to promote human rights, communication and international relations skills as well as the basics of diplomacy.
As part of the Model United Nations, students take on the role of ambassadors or foreign ministers and represent the policies of their respective countries by participating in simulations of international sections of the UN. Thus, participants should research countries, debates and international issues in an attempt to find solutions to global issues.
