The construction of an inclusive toilet at the Turiscai Community Health Center (CHC) in Manufahi Municipality has contributed to improving accessibility, dignity, and comfort for patients, especially people with disabilities, pregnant women, and the elderly. Not only improve access to sanitation facilities, but it also helps improve the quality and efficiency of health services by allowing patients to use sanitation facilities more independently.
According to the Chief of Turiscai Community Health Center (CHC), this inclusive toilet has reduced barriers to access, strengthened patient-centered care, and contributed to creating a health service environment that is more inclusive and better responsive to the needs of all patients.

🗓️On 10 and 11 June 2026, WATL formalized the signing of agreements with implementing partners including HADEER, LBF, HDI, FHTL, GFFTL, HAK Association, and PN-BESI-TL for the implementation of the 's the Australian Government through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program ( ) - Haforsa Adaptasaun Klimátika ne'ebé Reziliente, Inkluzivu, no Sustentável (HARIS) Project. 🌱🌐
The project will be implemented from June 2026 to May 2027, and this project aims to strengthened sub national systems for inclusive, climate resilient, evidence-based WASH and WRM services through promote Nature-based Solutions (NbS) that strengthen climate resilience, improve water security, and support sustainable ecosystem management in Liquiçá, Manufahi, Bobonaro, and Ermera municipalities.
