“Remember, nurses are like icebergs. At any one time, you are only seeing what they are actually doing.” —Ian Miller
"พยาบาลก็เหมือนภูเขาน้ำแข็ง คุณเห็นแค่สิ่งที่พวกเขาทำอยู่เบื้องบนเท่านั้น"
Nurses are the silent heroes who stand by our sides during our most vulnerable moments. But what we see is just the tip of the iceberg.

Have you ever considered joining one of the top ten largest healthcare organization in the world that provides care for millions and employs people from over 200 countries?
The National Health Service (NHS) is the heart of the UK's healthcare system. If you're a qualified nurse trained overseas and interested in working for the NHS, here's what you need to know:
Eligibility: You must be a fully qualified nurse with qualifications recognized in the UK.
English Language Skills: You'll need to demonstrate sufficient English proficiency to work effectively in the NHS. This can be proven through tests like IELTS or OET.
Test of Competence (ToC): Once eligible, you'll take the ToC, a two-part assessment. The first part is a computer-based test (CBT), and the second is a practical test called the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
Job Interviews and Offer: After passing the ToC, you can attend job interviews, either online or in person, with NHS trusts across the UK. Upon receiving a job offer, your employer will conduct background checks to finalize your position.
This process allows the NHS to ensure qualified and well-suited nurses join their team.

Nurses employed by the National Health Service (NHS) enjoy several benefits, including job security, flexibility, leave entitlement, career progression, and financial stability. These advantages make nursing with the NHS an attractive career choice for many healthcare professionals.
Job Security
In recent years, the UK has witnessed an increase in its people living longer, largely due to better healthcare and advances in medicine. If the NHS is to continue providing world-class healthcare, it could only mean one thing – a greater need for qualified nurses.
Flexibility
If you wish to strike the perfect balance between work and personal life, an NHS job would let you do just that. The NHS understands that working for them shouldn’t mean nurses having to sacrifice family life, socialising, or interests. Making flexible working a reality helps the organisation recruit and retain top talent.
Leave entitlement
The NHS is an organisation that has to provide care all year round, so nurses work on a rota basis. When they begin employment, full-time NHS nursing staff are entitled to 27 days paid leave, plus eight bank holidays, every year. Their leave entitlement increases as the length of service increases. On completing 10 years, nurses are entitled to 33 days paid leave, plus eight bank holidays.
Career progression
Working for the NHS is ideal for ambitious individuals. Those who begin as registered nurses can move up into more senior roles within healthcare settings, provided they are willing to upgrade their skills and knowledge and are able to acquire further qualifications. Examples of senior roles include managers, specialists, consultant nurses and matrons. It is also possible for a registered nurse in the UK to get into teaching or research.
Salary
An NHS nurse’s salary typically starts at the bottom of band five. As of November 2022, the pay points within this band range from £27,055 (1.26 million baht) to £32,934 (1.54 million baht) per year. With further qualifications and experience, salaries can rise significantly, potentially reaching band nine, where the pay can be around £100,000 (4.67 million baht) annually.

This past Halloween, the halls of IIHS weren't just filled with the sounds of textbooks flipping – they were echoing with laughter and screams (of joy, of course) from our future nurses!🩺
We brewed up a frightfully fun evening for our students to loosen up some stress and celebrate in between their studies. Our students got to dress how scary they like from ghosts, goblins, and ghouls👻
Remember, at IIHS, we provide a supportive program to help international nurses, like you, achieve their dream career in the NHS. It's a one-time investment that will cast away any worries about visas, exams, and job placements.
P.S. We're always looking for more brave new nurses to join the IIHS family. Shoot us a message today!

We're overwhelmed by the amazing response to our UK 6-month Nursing Program!
Thank you to all the nurses who have messaged us to show interest in our program to work as a registered nurse in the UK through the International Institute of Health Sciences (IIHS). To address some of the most frequently asked questions, please read below
1) Do I have to have a nursing degree to apply? Yes, our program requires registrants to have a Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field to apply, with at least 1 year of work experience in nursing and a valid nursing license.
2) Do I have to know English? Yes, we recommend registrants to have ‘intermediate’ English language proficiency as it is also required by the UK immigration. We, however, provide intensive tutoring in all required English exams, such as IELTS, OOET, and computer based test.
3) Is the program free? We regret to inform that the program does require a ‘one-time payment’ of around USD 8,500 which will be used to cover several necessary expenses.
4) Will I have to look for a job myself after finishing? No you won’t! The IIHS institute partners with the National Health Service (NHS) of the United Kingdom. We provide direct job placement with UK employers and hold job interviews regularly at our institute. This ensures all of our students land their dream job right after graduation.
