Montasio cheese is known for being a native Italian product that earned its name from the Montasio mountain range in the Friuli region north of Venice in Italy.

This Cheese is produced with sheep’s milk and fresh cow's milk. It takes 4 to 6 month for it to age/mature. It has almost pale yellow colour surface on the outside with mellow flavour. Montasio cheese goes well with Sauvignon Blanc which is a white wine.
