Sri Lankan Pilgrimage Group of 25 Visits Wat Phra Dhammakaya — A Journey of Faith and Determination

A group of 25 Sri Lankan visitors — including 3 monks and 22 lay devotees — arrived at Wat Phra Dhammakaya as part of a pilgrimage tour to visit important Buddhist temples in Thailand. For most of the group, this was their first time visiting the temple.

Originally, the group had planned to travel to Thailand earlier in the month. However, due to severe flooding in Sri Lanka, their trip had to be postponed for five days.
Despite this challenge, they never gave up on their intention to visit Wat Phra Dhammakaya — especially their wish to pay homage to the Dhammakaya Cetiya, the sacred stupa enshrining one million Buddha images.

Upon arriving at the temple, the group expressed deep admiration for the vastness of the grounds, the cleanliness, and the well-organized environment.
When they reached the Dhammakaya Cetiya, they felt a profound sense of peace and sanctity. Many described the atmosphere as serene, uplifting, and spiritually powerful.

Their devotion, perseverance, and joy made this visit a truly meaningful pilgrimage.

คณะชาวศรีลังกา 25 ท่าน (พระ 3 รูป สาธุชน 22 ท่าน) เยี่ยมชมวัดพระธรรมกายด้วยศรัทธาและความตั้งใจแน่วแน่

คณะชาวศรีลังกาจำนวน 25 ท่าน ประกอบด้วย พระสงฆ์ 3 รูป และสาธุชน 22 ท่าน ได้เดินทางมาเยี่ยมชมวัดพระธรรมกายเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของทัวร์แสวงบุญ เพื่อเยี่ยมชมวัดสำคัญต่าง ๆ ในประเทศไทย โดยสาธุชนส่วนใหญ่เป็นการมาครั้งแรก

คณะตั้งใจจะเดินทางมาตั้งแต่ต้นเดือน แต่ประเทศศรีลังกาประสบปัญหาน้ำท่วม ทำให้ต้องเลื่อนการเดินทางออกไปถึง 5 วัน
แม้จะมีอุปสรรค แต่ทุกคนยังคงรักษาความตั้งใจเดิมคือ การได้มาบูชาพระมหาธรรมกายเจดีย์ อันเป็นสถานที่ประดิษฐานพระพุทธเจ้าล้านพระองค์

เมื่อเดินทางถึงวัด ทุกท่านต่างรู้สึกประทับใจใน

A Sri Lankan Group of 11 Visits Wat Phra Dhammakaya — A Journey Filled with Joy and Understanding

A group of 11 Sri Lankan visitors explored Wat Phra Dhammakaya, with almost all of them visiting for the very first time. Among them was an elderly gentleman who introduced himself to the reception team as the Chairman and Managing Director of a major tour company in Sri Lanka, as well as a leader in justice & peace initiatives.
He shared that he had visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya several times before — and this visit marked his fourth time at the temple. Deeply impressed by the temple on every visit, he expressed his wish to bring more groups in the future.

As most members of the group were not fluent in English, this gentleman kindly volunteered to interpret the tour explanations from English into Sinhala — and he did so with remarkable fluency.
Thanks to his clear translations, the entire group listened with great attention and interest.

One elderly lady, in particular, showed visible joy and delight. Her eyes sparkled with heartfelt appreciation as she came to understand the story of the Dhammakaya Cetiya and the meaning behind creating one’s own personal Buddha image (Dhammakaya statue).
Her expression reflected a deep sense of devotion, gratitude, and inspiration throughout the visit.

It was a visit filled with warmth, understanding, and shared faith — a memorable experience for everyone in the group.

คณะชาวศรีลังกา 11 ท่าน เยี่ยมชมวัดพระธรรมกาย ด้วยความปลื้มปีติและความเข้าใจที่ลึกซึ้ง

คณะผู้เยี่ยมชมชาวศรีลังกาจำนวน 11 ท่าน ได้เดินทางมาเยี่ยมชมวัดพระธรรมกาย โดยเกือบทุกท่านเป็นการมาเยือนครั้งแรก ยกเว้นสุภาพบุรุษสูงวัยท่านหนึ่งซึ่งได้แนะนำตัวกับทีมงานว่าเป็น ประธานกรรมการผู้จัดการบริษัททัวร์ชื่อดังในศรีลังกา และยังเป็นผู้นำในด้าน justice & peace อีกด้วย

ท่านเล่าว่าเคยมาวัดพระธรรมกายหลายครั้งแล้ว และครั้งนี้ถือเป็นครั้งที่ 4
ทุกครั้งที่มาเยือน ท่านรู้สึกประทับใจในทุกอย่างที่วัด จึงตั้งใจว่าจะนำคณะมาชมวัดบ่อยๆ ในอนาคต

เนื่องจากสมาชิกในกลุ่มส่วนใหญ่ไม่ถนัดภาษาอังกฤษ ท่านสุภาพบุรุษจึงอาสาเป็นล่าม แปลคำบรรยายจากภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาสิงหลให้เพื่อนๆ ในกลุ่มอย่างคล่องแคล่ว ทำให้ทุกคนตั้งใจฟังและเข้าใจข้อมูลเป็นอย่างดี

โดยเฉพาะสุภาพสตรีสูงวัยในกลุ่ม ท่านรับฟังด้วยสีหน้าเปี่ยมปีติ แววตาเปล่งประกายความปลื้มปิติ เมื่อได้เข้าใจเรื่องราวของ พระมหาธรรมกายเจดีย์ และแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการสร้าง องค์พระธรรมกายประจำตัว
เป็นภาพแห่งศรัทธาที่งดงามและอบอุ่นหัวใจของทีมงานเป็นอย่างยิ่ง

การเยี่ยมชมในครั้งนี้เต็มไปด้วยความสุข ความเข้าใจ และความศรัทธาที่เชื่อมโยงทุกคนไว้ด้วยกัน

A Sri Lankan Group of 23 Visitors Experiences a Warm and Inspiring Visit at the Dhammakaya Cetiya

A group of 23 Sri Lankan visitors, all of whom are Buddhists, arrived at Wat Phra Dhammakaya accompanied by two guides—Ms. Lek, a Thai guide who had visited the temple before, and a Sri Lankan guide who is very familiar with the temple and has visited many times.

This group consisted of several families traveling together. Due to their limited schedule, the visit focused on the Dhammakaya Cetiya. Upon arriving, everyone graciously cooperated when asked to form two lines before beginning the tour. They helped one another, organized themselves quickly, and demonstrated great respect and discipline.

During the guided tour, the visitors paid close attention, even though many could only understand some English. They observed attentively throughout. After the main explanations were given, the Sri Lankan guide stepped in to offer additional explanations in Sinhala. This greatly enhanced the group’s understanding, and he even shared further details about other significant locations in the temple that they did not have time to visit—showcasing his extensive knowledge of the temple.

After the tour, several visitors requested to walk closer to the front of the Cetiya. Even though the sun was bright, a cool breeze made the atmosphere pleasant. Most of them walked forward to respectfully offer lotus flowers at the front of the Cetiya, while those who were unable to walk further chose to sit quietly in meditation as they waited.

The group expressed gratitude for the meaningful experience and the serene environment surrounding the Dhammakaya Cetiya during their short yet heartfelt visit.

ชาวศรีลังกา 23 ท่านเยี่ยมชมพระมหาธรรมกายเจดีย์อย่างประทับใจ

คณะผู้เยี่ยมชมชาวศรีลังกาจำนวน 23 ท่าน ซึ่งทุกท่านนับถือพระพุทธศาสนา เดินทางมาพร้อมไกด์ 2 ท่าน ได้แก่ “พี่เล็ก” ไกด์ชาวไทยที่เคยมีประสบการณ์มาวัดมาก่อน และไกด์ชาวศรีลังกาซึ่งคุ้นเคยกับวัดเป็นอย่างดีและเคยมาเยือนหลายครั้ง

กรุ๊ปนี้เป็นคณะทัวร์รวมหลายครอบครัวเดินทางมาด้วยกัน แต่เนื่องจากมีเวลาไม่มาก จึงมุ่งเน้นการพาชมพระมหาธรรมกายเจดีย์เป็นหลัก เมื่อเดินทางมาถึงและลงจากรถบัส ไกด์ได้ขอให้แขกทุกท่านจัดแถว 2 แถว ซึ่งทุกคนให้ความร่วมมือเป็นอย่างดี ช่วยกันจัดแถวและบอกต่อกันเป็นระเบียบเรียบร้อย

ระหว่างการนำชม ทุกท่านตั้งใจฟังอย่างมาก แม้ว่าบางคนจะฟังภาษาอังกฤษได้เพียงเล็กน้อยก็ตาม แต่ก็สนใจและติดตามตลอดการบรรยาย หลังจากอธิบายจุดสำคัญครบถ้วนแล้ว ไกด์ชาวศรีลังกาจึงได้เสริมคำอธิบายเป็นภาษาศรีลังกา ทำให้ทุกคนเข้าใจมากยิ่งขึ้น อีกทั้งยังได้อธิบายเกี่ยวกับสถานที่สำคัญอื่นๆ ภายในวัดที่ไม่ได้มีเวลาไปชมด้วย ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นถึงความรู้ที่ลึกซึ้งของไกด์ท่านนี้เป็นอย่างดี

เมื่อจบนำชม แขกหลายท่านได้สอบถามและขอเดินไปยังด้านหน้าเจดีย์เพื่อถวายดอกบัว แม้ว่าขณะนั้นแดดค่อนข้างแรง แต่อากาศเย็นสบาย ทำให้ทุกคนเดินไปบูชาองค์พระด้วยความตั้งใจ ส่วนแขกที่เดินไม่ไหวก็ได้นั่งสมาธิรออย่างสงบ

การเยี่ยมชมในครั้งนี้แม้จะเป็นช่วงเวลาสั้นๆ แต่เต็มไปด้วยความประทับใจ ความสงบ และความศรัทธาอย่างลึกซึ้งของแขกทุกท่าน

A group of 17 Buddhist visitors from Sri Lanka visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya for the very first time. Many of them shared that friends who had previously visited strongly recommended that “if you come to Thailand, you must visit this temple.”

The group began their visit by watching a Sinhala-language documentary about the history of the temple in the main media room, followed by a short meditation session. Most participants mentioned that they had previous meditation experience, which made the session both familiar and deeply peaceful.

They then continued to the Main Chapel and the Dhammakaya Cetiya. As they walked toward the Meditation Stadium and heard the chanting of the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta, several visitors expressed delight, recognizing the chant as one that is also practiced in Sri Lanka with a similar melody.

Before leaving, the group had the opportunity to offer gold leaf on the statue of the Great Master, Sodh Candasaro, at the Meditation Stadium. Many shared that it was their first time performing this type of offering and felt deeply moved by the experience—some even requested extra gold leaf sheets to take home so they could place them on the Buddha images in their own houses.

The group expressed sincere appreciation for the warm hospitality and said they were deeply impressed by their visit to Wat Phra Dhammakaya, adding that they hope to return again in the future.

คณะชาวพุทธจากประเทศศรีลังกา จำนวน 17 ท่าน ได้มีโอกาสมาเยี่ยมชมวัดพระธรรมกายเป็นครั้งแรก โดยหลายท่านเล่าว่า เพื่อน ๆ ที่เคยมาเยี่ยมชมวัดได้บอกไว้ว่า “หากมาประเทศไทยต้องแวะมาชมวัดพระธรรมกายให้ได้”

คณะเริ่มต้นด้วยการชม สื่อประวัติวัดภาษาสิงหล ณ ห้องสื่อใหญ่ พร้อมทั้งร่วม นั่งสมาธิ ซึ่งหลายท่านกล่าวว่าเคยมีพื้นฐานการฝึกสมาธิมาก่อน ทำให้รู้สึกสงบและคุ้นเคยเป็นอย่างดี

จากนั้นได้เดินทางไปเยี่ยมชม อุโบสถ และ พระมหาธรรมกายเจดีย์ ขณะเดินผ่านวิหารคดและได้ยินเสียงสวด บทธรรมจักรฯ สมาชิกในคณะหลายท่านกล่าวด้วยรอยยิ้มว่า รู้จักบทสวดนี้ดี เพราะในศรีลังกาก็มีการสวดในทำนองคล้ายคลึงกัน

ก่อนกลับ คณะได้มีโอกาสร่วม ปิดแผ่นทองคำเปลว ณ รูปหล่อหลวงปู่สด จนฺทสโร ที่วิหารคด ซึ่งทุกคนบอกว่าเป็นครั้งแรกที่ได้ทำบุญลักษณะนี้ จึงรู้สึกปลาบปลื้มใจเป็นอย่างมาก บางท่านถึงกับขอแผ่นทองคำเปลวเพิ่มเติมเพื่อนำกลับไปปิดพระพุทธรูปที่บ้านตนเอง

ทั้งคณะกล่าวด้วยความประทับใจว่า การได้มาเยือนวัดพระธรรมกายในครั้งนี้เป็นประสบการณ์ที่ดีมาก และอยากกลับมาเยี่ยมชมอีกครั้งในอนาคต
