EP.3 – My European Adventure: Conversations with Friends

One of the biggest culture shocks for me wasn’t just the food, but the conversations. Back home, when friends gather, we usually chat about funny things, gossip, or just random daily stuff. Here in Europe, my friends talk seriously.

Over coffee or dinner, topics are about work goals, personal development, even politics and sports strategies. Sometimes it feels like a TED talk at the table! Everyone has strong opinions, and they explain them with passion. At first, I didn’t know what to say, but little by little, I joined in.

What surprised me most is how normal it is here to talk openly about your ambitions and struggles. It made me reflect on my own goals and even motivated me to grow.
It’s intense, but I’ve learned so much from these conversations. It’s not just hanging out! it’s like a gym for the mind.

EP.3 – My European Adventure: บทสนทนาในกลุ่มเพื่อน

อีกหนึ่งเรื่องที่ช็อกไม่แพ้อาหาร ก็คือ “บทสนทนาในกลุ่มเพื่อน”
เรามาจากเมืองที่ เวลานัดเจอเพื่อนก็คุยเล่น เฮฮา เล่าเรื่องตลก เมาท์บ้าง แต่ที่นี่… เพื่อน ๆ คุยกันแบบจริงจังสุด ๆ

นั่งกินข้าวหรือจิบกาแฟกัน เรื่องที่คุยคือเป้าหมายงาน การพัฒนาตัวเอง การเมือง ไปจนถึงเรื่องกีฬาแบบวิเคราะห์กันละเอียด ๆ บางทีนึกว่ามานั่งฟัง TED talk ทุกคนมีความคิดเห็นชัดเจน แล้วก็เล่าแบบใส่พลังมาก ตอนแรกเราก็ไม่รู้จะพูดอะไร แต่พออยู่ไปก็เริ่มกล้าแสดงความคิดเห็นมากขึ้น

สิ่งที่ประทับใจคือ ทุกคนเปิดใจพูดเป้าหมาย และปัญหาแบบเปิดกันตรง ๆ เลย ฟังแล้วเราก็ย้อนคิดถึงตัวเองเหมือนกัน มันเป็นแรงผลักดันให้เราอยากพัฒนาตัวเองไปอีกขั้น
