A wonderful evening at SESUN Grill & Beach Bar at Hyatt Regency Koh Samui.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our May networking dinner and made the evening so enjoyable. From the delicious Thai cuisine and generous hospitality to the fantastic service and great company throughout the night, it was a memorable gathering by the beach.
A special thank you to General Manager Pravin Kumar, Executive Chef Nattapark Charoenpanich, and the entire Hyatt Regency Koh Samui team for hosting us so warmly.
We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next Skål Koh Samui event.

Skal International Koh Samui Supports Skal Asia’s “One Member One Tree Campaign’
The garden terrace at the stunning 5-star Centara Reserve was the perfect setting for the Samui launch of the Skal Asia green initiative ‘One Member One Tree’ - a simple but powerful campaign uniting Skalleagues across Asia through environmental action.
After a glamorous cocktail reception attended by some 40+ Skal Koh Samui members and their guests, a table filled with potted Papaya seedlings were waiting to be taken home and planted by members. The seedlings were sponsored by member Claudio Crequetti and his energy saving company Continewm.
“Each tree embodies Skal values”, said Claudio, “care for the planet, friendship and responsibility to future generations.”
Skal members are invited to get a picture of their tree planting as part if a huge environmental collage at the upcoming Skal Asia Congress in Macau in June.
Skal Samui extends its great thanks to Olivier Pauchard, Director of Food & Beverage and David Morell, Executive Chef at the Centara Reserve and their team for hosting such a superb evening of good wine, food and camaraderie. Also to our sponsors: Ambrose Wines & Spirits, BB&B, IWS and WinePro for some outstanding wines served throughout the evening.

APRIL SKÅL DINNER @ ACT 5 BY CENTARA RESERVE
Dear Skålleagues and Friends,
April takes us to Act 5 at Centara Reserve Samui, where Director of Food & Beverage Olivier Pauchard, Executive Chef David Morell, and their team are hosting us for a relaxed reception-style evening with generous food and free-flowing drinks. There are tables for those who want them and plenty of room to mingle for those who don’t.
The menu opens with creative canapés, from truffled poultry terrine on toasted rye, to pumpkin crème brûlée with goat cheese, before moving on to live cooking stations. As always, wines, local beer, and soft drinks are included all evening.

In the spirit of the Skål International Asia initiative “One Member – One Tree,” our Skålleague and Committee Chair for Sustainability, Claudio, has kindly arranged papaya seedlings for each of our members to be handed out during the April event. Each member is invited to plant the seedling in their garden or another suitable space, take a photo of the activity, and share it with us. These photos will then be compiled into a collage representing our Samui.green initiative.
