One of our children, Solomon had surgery today on his arm, unfortunately they had a difficult time waking him up and brought him straight to ICU. Please join us in prayers for a complete recovery.

Also, there is a need for financial help, the surgery was unexpected today let alone icu. If you are willing and able to help in any monetary way the link will be in the comments

Thank you for prayers and support.

Clean up has begun. It’s hard. It’s surreal. Prayers appreciated.

Update:
Today we are all united together. We’re staying with some friends, and grateful for ALL they’re doing!

Water has receded and we were able to go see the inside of our house. Some things will be salvageable, but most isn’t. It’s hard. But He always takes care of us. And we’re ok, and taking it day by day.

I’m sorry I haven’t been responding to everyone. I hope you understand I’m exhausted. From trudging through water to getting separated from the kids, and now my health. I’m having kidney issues as well as shingles came back. Prayers appreciated.

The water has receded. BUT we are not out of the woods yet another typhoon is headed to the coast & we received word that China opened their Dams & are allowing water into Myanmar, causing them to open their dams. So more water is expected to head this way. Vietnam was hit bad & many places around Thailand are still getting rain resulting in mud slides. The community effort is amazing not just among us expats but the Thai people, food & water are being distributed to the effected flood victims & those who are simply without power. People are offering up set skis & wave runners to assist in rescues. The hotel we are at is housing many rescue teams & they are coming & going with boats & food & big utility vehicles. Amazing to see people work together & feel the sense of community around us. 🇹🇭

Our little library has grown from a random group of books to a legit room that the kids can access & check out books. We are up to over 550 books thanks to some wonderful donors & teachers sharing books with the students. We would like to think The Black family and the Pachuau family along with Miss Kassie Light, The Espy family and The Willingham family for their donations 🙏📚 🇹🇭
