Phăng Pratîp (ผางประทีป)

It’s a lighting equipment as same as candles. It has mixed with 2 words; “Phăng” which means to the fuel container for lighting and “Pratîp” means to the light. It normally uses for giving light in nighttime.

In the full moon in twelfth month, “Loi Krathong”, “ Phăng Pratîp (ผางประทีป)” is lighten to worship to the Triple gem as well.

Note: The Triple gem means the three holy gems which include Buddha Gem, Dhamma Gem and Sangha Gem.

Loi Krathong (ลอยกระทง)

The festival in full moon of Thai twelfth month. There are many believes depends on each local area.

The believe of Buddhist we pay respect to the footprint of the Great Buddha on Nanthamahanathi River, somewhere far away but be respectful and honorable.
