THE UNNAMED
A church for what we are not allowed to feel.

In Moramanga, people know storms and droughts.
They know exhaustion, and the weight of living day by day.
They till the soil. Chase the rain. Feed their families.
They know God. They know sacred places.

But the quiet aches
disappointment, confusion, shame, questions
have no place.
They are silenced.
Because in a world where strength is survival,
some feelings are simply left behind.

There are no names for these feelings.
Only spaces in the heart
where breath pauses
and questions are asked without sound.

What if these feelings didn’t need to be strong to be seen?
What if they didn’t have to be worthy to matter?
What if the holiest thing we can do
is to sit quietly
with what we never dared to name?

This church does not seek to redefine faith.
It honors it
by offering a space where people can meet God
not only through light and praise,
but also through silence,
and through all that has been left unspoken.

This is not a place of healing.
It is a place of holding.
Where one finally sits with what they’ve carried for years,
and says:
“You may stay.”

They leave not fixed,
but whole.
And in that wholeness,
one word finally reveals itself:
Sadness.

Project : TP House
Location : Tapong, Rayong
Area: 350 sq.m.

บ้านพักอาศัยที่ให้ความสำคัญกับความเป็นส่วนตัวมากๆ ฟังก์ชั่นทุกส่วนของบ้านปิดล้อมคอร์ทยาร์ดตรงกลางไว้ เพื่อสร้างวิวส่วนตัวให้กับผู้อยู่อาศัย โดยยังคงตอบรับความเป็นธรรมชาติของแดด ลม ฝน ที่ทำหน้าที่เปลี่ยนถ่ายลงมาในคอร์ทฯนี้ เปลือกด้านนอกของอาคารปิดทึบให้มากที่สุด แต่เรายังมีช่องเปิดเท่าที่จำเป็น ทำให้การใช้งานในบ้านมีความเป็นส่วนตัวไปพร้อมๆกับการรับรู้สิ่งแวดล้อมภายนอกได้อย่างลงตัว
