เมื่อมนุษย์ได้คิดค้นการเอาชนะความมืดด้วยแสงสว่างจากการจุดไฟในอดีตเพื่อเอาตัวรอดในเวลกลางคืนได้แล้ว ในเวลาต่อมาจึงมีผู้คิดค้นการทำแสงประดิษฐิ์ขึ้นมาจากพลังงานไฟฟ้าหรือที่เรียกกันว่าหลอดไฟ บุคคลนั้นมีนามว่า Thomas Edison เขาคิดค้นพลังงานแสงสว่างทดแทนพลังแสงอาทิตย์เพื่อใช้ในช่วงเวลากลางคืนโดยอาศัยพลังงานไฟฟ้าเป็นตัวทำให้เกิดแสงสว่างนั้นเอง

"Lighting"
After people invented the means to overcome darkness in order to survive at night. Then comes the invention of light bulbs which uses electricity as the energy source. Moreover, the person who invented the light bulb was called Thomas Edison.
