What on earth is that meant to mean? Extraordinary what?

I recently ordered a tenderloin at Chokchai Farm and perhaps I should send them this definition. What arrived on my plate was difficult to cut even with the steak knife. One story of how it got its name is that King James I of England (or VI of Scotland - they were the same guy) was so pleased when eating the cut of loin that he knighted it so that it became Sir Loin.
