Join us on an immersive 7-day journey to a small village embraced by rice fields in Northeast Thailand.

✨ What’s waiting for you

Spend 4 days in Ban PaAo learning ancient clay-mold brass casting from master craftsmen whose knowledge has been passed down through generations. You’ll create bells and objects of your own design alongside traditional forms.

Visit local makers: experience hands-on pottery using age-old techniques (before the potter’s wheel!), explore silk and cotton weaving, and natural dyeing with colors sourced from plants.

Explore the region’s beauty: stand before the prehistoric cliff paintings at Pha Taem National Park, feel the spray of waterfalls, and—exclusive to December trip—discover the awe-inspiring Sam Phan Bok (Thailand’s Grand Canyon), accessible only in the dry season.

This excursion is a rare chance to learn directly from artisans, connect with local traditions, and enjoy the stunning landscapes of Isaan.

เรียนรู้การหล่อโลหะแบบโบราณในเบ้าดิน จากครูช่างที่สืบทอดวิชามาหลายร้อยปี พร้อมทำชิ้นงานทั้งรูปแบบดั้งเดิมและรูปแบบของตนเอง

เยี่ยมชมและทดลองทำเครื่องปั้นดินเผาโบราณ (ก่อนจะมีแป้นหมุน!), ชมการเลี้ยงไหม การสาวไหม ทอผ้าไหม และฝ้าย รวมถึงการย้อมผ้าด้วยสีธรรมชาติ

เที่ยวชมภาพเขียนก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ ที่อุทยานแห่งชาติผาแต้ม น้ำตก และพิเศษเฉพาะทริปธันวาคม ไปสามพันโบกหรือแกรนด์แคนยอนเมืองไทย ซึ่งเที่ยวได้เฉพาะช่วงหน้าแล้ง

We’re honored to host Taiwanese artist Willie from the Amis tribe, and his partner & interpreter, Oliver – a talented illustrator – as part of the Taitung Craft International Residency 2025, supported by Taitung County Government.

Willie, originally a hairdresser, is on a mission to revive the traditional beaded headdress of the Farangaw subtribe – a cultural treasure nearly lost through colonization and suppression of Indigenous expression.

Their passion to reconnect with tradition and bring it back to life is inspiring!

Last week, they joined us for a 5-day Basic Jewellery course, their first step into metalwork. They'll return in September to continue their creation journey — culminating in an exhibition and flower beading workshop at TCDC, Bangkok later that month.

We’re excited to support and witness this meaningful revival.
