At 35,000 feet, Thai craft travels beautifully.
Launching January 2026, .official and Thai Airways unveil the latest chapter of their in-flight collaboration, now entering its third year. What began in 2023 as a rethink of Royal Silk Class amenity kits has evolved into a quietly confident showcase of Thai artistry, design and purpose.
This newest collection introduces 14 exclusive prints across refreshed amenity bags, each drawing from Thailand’s visual and cultural language. From House on the Klong, inspired by the teak home and gardens of the Jim Thompson House Museum, to Orchids Bunch, echoing the elegance of Thailand’s national flower and airline emblem, the designs feel considered rather than decorative. Elephant Legacy, Stamp Siam, and lush botanical narratives such as Paradise and Tropical Forest Garden turn the simple act of travel into something more storied.
For the first time in Thai Airways’ history, Royal Silk Class passengers will also slip into comfort wear sets designed by Jim Thompson. The Elephant Series pyjamas, featuring the brand’s signature Origami Elephant motif, are crafted for long-haul European routes and designed to make in-flight comfort live up to the promise of being ‘Smooth as Silk’.
Sustainability sits naturally within the collection. Eco-friendly fabrics, biodegradable amenity accessories and thoughtfully packaged essentials reflect a shared understanding of what modern luxury now asks for: intention, longevity and responsibility.
This is not about novelty. It is about continuity, identity and the confidence to let Thai craftsmanship speak at altitude. A collaboration that feels less like branding, and more like cultural stewardship.
Thai Airways and Jim Thompson invite travellers to live the story of Thailand, one flight at a time.pr

So last night went for a chit-chat to . Ended up staying for dinner. Some standouts: Avocado Chaat, Kachori Chaat, mutton naan roll, paneer kebab, Lal Maans (mutton) tacos and the mutton curry. Will go back. Lovely, casual place to hangout and get your fill of kebabs. Next time will do beer and kebabs.

CUBANO SUNDAY BRUNCH AT RADISSON BLU
A quick Front Row review
Havana came to Asoke this weekend, and it arrived with colour, rhythm and an unexpected dose of fun. Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok’s Cubano Sunday Brunch turned Twenty Seven Bites into a little pocket of Latin energy, complete with a pre-brunch dance class by Apple Busakorn that had half the room attempting salsa steps before noon.
The food leans boldly into the theme: a DIY nacho and taco station loaded with pulled beef, pork and chicken plus all the accoutrements, hand-pressed guacamole, a bright made-to-order ceviche bar, Fin de Claire oysters, crabs and shrimp on ice and a steady rotation of grills from citrus-roasted pork and spicy, sticky pork spareribs to lobster. Generous, unfussy, and the kind of brunch meant for groups who want movement as much as a meal.
The brunch is priced at THB 1,499++ and includes a welcome Margarita or Mojito, free-flow soft drinks and a 45-minute Latin class – unusually good value for a theme this spirited. Drink upgrades add real lift, from mojitos and margaritas to a Champagne option for those who take their Sundays seriously.
Desserts keep the energy going with made-to-order churros, pancakes, a chocolate fountain and a line-up of tiny pastries that you will want to ignore your diet for.
A lively, good-value brunch with a sense of occasion. If your weekend needs a bit of colour and a lot of beat, this one delivers.
Every last Sunday of the Month. Mark your calendars .
