HKL (Hattha Kaksekar Limited) Headquarters in Cambodia is situated on a busy street in the heart of Phnom Penh. This 21-story office tower showcases the strength and the power of their financial institution along with the forward-thinking mentality of their citizen. The tower is designed to be energy efficient by providing a ventilation core through the center of the building, allowing hot air to rise and exit through the garden levels 4, 13, and 21. The horizontal canopies provide shades throughout the day while the projected secondary surfaces (Photovoltaic panels) block direct sunlight to the southwest façade and ventilate the inner surface. The building is divided into 3 vertical parts, the pedestal for mixed-use functions, the mid-level of the tower dedicated to banking customers, and the top-level for the private offices.
