A reader asked: "My wife and I got married recently. Unfortunately, a few of my high school friends came to the reception drunk. One of them — despite being married with children — spent the evening hitting on female guests. He asked one of them back to his hotel room and texted another soliciting a late-night hookup. Months later, we can't stop thinking about how he disrespected his marriage. We don't see him and his wife often, but we consider them friends. (His wife was invited to the wedding, but she stayed home with the children.) This was not an isolated incident: I observed a similar episode several years ago. Our instinct is to tell the wife about her husband's behavior. But that could destroy a marriage and the lives of two children. Guidance?"
