ทีมจากมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี ประสบความสำเร็จในการคว้าเหรียญทองจากรายการ Student Innovation Challenge (SIC) Thailand 2024 ด้วยโครงการ "ClearConverse: A Web Application for Enhanced Communication for People with Alaryngeal Speech" โดยทีมประกอบด้วยอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา ศ.ดร.วุฒิพงษ์ คำวิลัยศักดิ์ และสมาชิกทีมคือ Hnin Yadana Lwin (หัวหน้าทีม), Hein Htet, Jisue Youn Kumwilaisak, Ratchapon Thammacharo และ Krishdawut Olde Monnikhof โครงการนี้พัฒนาขึ้นเพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ที่สูญเสียความสามารถในการพูดธรรมชาติ ด้วยการใช้เทคนิคการเรียนรู้เชิงลึกในการแปลงเสียงที่เป็นธรรมชาติมากขึ้น เพื่อให้การสื่อสารมีความชัดเจนและง่ายขึ้น โครงการนี้เน้นการพัฒนาแอปพลิเคชันบนเว็บที่ใช้งานง่าย ซึ่งได้รับการชื่นชมอย่างมากจากคณะกรรมการ

The team from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi has won a gold medal at the Student Innovation Challenge (SIC) Thailand 2024 with their project "ClearConverse: A Web Application for Enhanced Communication for People with Alaryngeal Speech." The team consists of advisor Prof. Dr. Wuttipong Kumwilaisak and team members Hnin Yadana Lwin (team leader), Hein Htet, Jisue Youn Kumwilaisak, Ratchapon Thammacharo, and Krishdawut Olde Monnikhof. This project aims to assist individuals who have lost their natural speaking ability by using deep learning techniques to convert alaryngeal speech into more natural-sounding speech, thereby enhancing communication clarity and ease. The project focuses on developing a user-friendly web application, which was highly praised by the judges.
