Together for health, stand with science 🧪🧬
This World Health Day 2026, we are reminded that health is not isolated — it is deeply interconnected.
From people to animals, from ecosystems to our shared environment, our wellbeing depends on one another. 🐥🐖🐄
The One Health approach highlights this connection — recognizing that protecting human health requires us to also protect animal health and the planet we live on.
It’s time to:
🔹 Work across disciplines and borders
🔹 Strengthen community and system resilience
🔹 Turn evidence into action
🔹 Invest in sustainable, inclusive health systems
In a world facing climate change, emerging diseases, and environmental challenges, science and collaboration across sectors are more important than ever. 🌏✨

Why One Health matters: communities need holistic, integrated services that reflect their realities-linking human, animal, and environmental health, especially in the face of climate change and declining donor funding.
At the One Health Festival Side Event in Bangkok, the CSO Platform shared insights on mapping One Health-related interventions in the Mekong region-highlighting what works in advancing community-led prevention across Asia-Pacific.
Organized by Apcaso, in collaboration with CIRAD the event brought together partners to strengthen collaboration and drive forward integrated, sustainable health solutions. 👨👩👧👦🐄🌿🌏💚

🌏On World Day of Social Justice, we reaffirm that health equity is not optional — it is essential.
Key social determinants of health equity
📍Poverty - limits access to life-saving opportunities.
📍Conflict - decimates health equity.
📍Displacement - barriers to health services.
📍Climate Change - Disproportionately affect vulnerable populations.
📍Discrimination - limit access to resources and reduce agency.
Health inequities are a matter of justice ⚖️
