โครงการร้านอาหารแห่งนี้ตั้งอยู่ริมแม่น้ำในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ต้องการมีพื้นที่รับประทานอาหารภายนอกที่ดูสวยงาม เป็นเอกลักษณ์ และเข้ากับพื้นที่เดิม ลักษณะพื้นที่เป็นที่ริมน้ำลาดเอียง จึงเสนอการใช้ Deck ที่เป็นระดับลดหลั่นลงมา ใช้โครงสร้างยกลอยเพื่อไม่ขวางทางน้ำ และเก็บรักษาต้นไม้ใหญ่เดิมไว้
แนวคิดการออกแบบคือล้านนาสมัยใหม่ เป็นการประยุกต์นำเอารูปแบบของความเป็นล้านนา วัสดุและองค์ประกอบต่างๆ มาใช้แต่ทำให้มีความโมเดิร์นมากขึ้น เพื่อเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของที่ตั้ง และเป็นจุดขายของร้านอาหารแห่งนี้
This restaurant project is located by the riverside in Chiang Mai province. It aims to have an outdoor dining area that looks beautiful, unique, and blends in with the existing surroundings. The terrain is sloped along the riverbank, so the proposal suggests using stepped decks to not obstruct the waterway. This design also allows for preserving the existing large trees in the area.
The design concept is “Contemporary Lanna”, incorporating the elements and materials inspired by the traditional Lanna. However, the design will be significantly more contemporary to establish a unique identity for the location and become a selling point for this restaurant.

โครงการนี้ออกแบบภายใต้แนวความคิด “Urban Oasis” ที่ต้องการเพิ่มคุณภาพชีวิต สร้างความสงบท่ามกลางความวุ่นวายของการอยู่อาศัยในเมือง แสดงผ่านงานออกแบบที่มีรูปทรงและเส้นสายที่ทันสมัย มีการใช้น้ำหลายจุดในบ้าน ทั้งน้ำนิ่งและน้ำตก เพื่อสร้างเสียงบรรยากาศ ลดอุณหภูมิ และทำให้รู้สึกสงบ นอกจากนี้ยังเลือกใช้พืชพรรณแบบใบใหญ่เพื่อสร้างความแตกต่างกับพื้นที่นอกรั้วบ้านและช่วยลดฝุ่นได้
U House project focuses on a modern way of outdoor urban living while still being peaceful. The designers introduced the “Urban Oasis” concept for this project. Most hardscapes are in modern geometric forms and curving lines. There are uses of water in different forms (still and waterfall water feature) to create white noise, cool the house temperature, and create a sense of peace. Most softscapes are in tropical style to contrast with surroundings and can result in dust reduction.
