𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗𝗚𝗢𝗩 𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗬 𝘅 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗬, 𝗦𝗘𝗧, 𝗪𝗜𝗡! | 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟭 𝗪𝗥𝗔𝗣 𝗨𝗣

Day 1 officially in the books.

The first day of GoodGov Academy x Ready, Set, Win! opened with meaningful conversations on leadership, governance, and the realities of serving the youth sector, held at AVR-4, New City Hall of Tagum.

Hon. Allen Monque shared his personal journey as both a student leader and SK Chairperson, while reflecting on his experience as the Prime Awardee of the Tagum City's Seal of Good Youth Governance 2025, giving participants a grounded perspective on leadership beyond titles and recognition.

Hon. Ciara Isabelle Uy-Salazar also delivered an inspirational message to the aspiring youth leaders, encouraging participants to lead with purpose, integrity, and genuine public service.

Meanwhile, Mr. Edu G. Macabatas of the Tagum City Youth and Sports Development Office and Mr. Jerome Jogno of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Philippines formally introduced the rationale and shared the vision of their respective offices for the program and for youth leadership development.

The day also highlighted the ceremonial Cooperation Signing Agreement between Mr. Macabatas, Hon. Uy-Salazar, and Mr. Jogno, symbolizing a strengthened commitment toward empowering future young leaders through collaboration and good governance initiatives.

As the first day concluded, participants were reminded that leadership is not solely measured by winning positions, but by the responsibility, integrity, and service that follow after the victory.

The discussions and commitments established during Day 1 now set the tone for deeper conversations and learning sessions as the program officially continues today, May 9, 2026, at Big 8 Corporate Hotel.
