Just saw the news that on of the best players in the current crop of Sierra Leone footballers Mohamed Buya Turay is set to join USA 🇺🇸 second tier club Birmingham Legion FC from Danish top tire club Odense Boldklub.

I feel bad at this news. I feel bad because, in the era when we have finally gotten a government that actually takes football seriously, we have a crop of footballers who are not up to the task to bring out the value for the money the government is spending. "Aw the player dem pwel, na so den nor serious for play for this kontri".

We need a robust strategy to overhaul football in this country.
