Although we have long been part of the global Breakbulk community, 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐤 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐢 offered a distinct perspective. It gave us a closer look at the region’s accelerating pipeline of energy projects, giga-developments, and port infrastructure across the Middle East.

More importantly, it allowed us to connect directly with the EPC community, where we had constructive discussions on potential transport solutions for oversized and heavy equipment supporting the region’s energy transition, as well as new approaches to complex project logistics.

A sincere thank you to our co-hosts, 𝐎𝐎𝐆 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, and to everyone who took the time to visit us. Contributing our technical perspective to such a vibrant community was truly a privilege. This was our first time exhibiting in the Middle East, and the start of many more to come.

Under the theme 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, this year’s International Management Meeting brought together our country heads and leadership teams not just to align strategy, but to reflect on how we grow together — as colleagues, as partners, and as a Group shaped by shared values.

The continued rise of 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲–𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 (𝐑𝐄–𝐖𝐓𝐆) presents significant opportunities for markets already working closely with wind developers. It is a segment that demands careful planning and coordination, where many of our teams are steadily expanding their expertise. Beyond RE–WTG, we also explored diversification in logistics and trading, strengthening our long-term direction as a Group.

What became evident is that 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 are central to aligning global vision with local ex*****on. Engagement with customers, partners, and stakeholders is not a one-time task, but a continuous practice that compounds over time. While some offices are still at the beginning of that journey, the principle remains the same: authentic relationships build trust and open the door to lasting success.

During the meeting, the team underscored the value of 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, with initiatives like the 𝐅𝐋𝐒 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 providing structure for growth. Equally important is fostering an environment where every member feel trusted, empowered, and supported to do their best work.

FLS Philippines recently facilitated a 𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 for COSCO Philippines Shipping, Inc., titled “𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫: 𝐄𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.”

The session brought together participants from multiple departments across the organization and featured active exchanges, scenario-based discussions, and practical walkthroughs.

Anchored in the 𝐅𝐋𝐒 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲’𝐬 mission of “𝐸𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑜 𝑎 𝐵𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝐹𝑢𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒,” the program focused on translating renewable energy importation requirements into clear operational actions. Through 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐝-𝐭𝐨-𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 — from port coordination to project-site readiness — participants explored how to operationalize renewable energy imports with greater precision and alignment across functions.
