Rob Walker the little typewriter.

I met Ballast aka Oscar Manning many, many years ago at an extended family gathering.

He ignored me completely.

Instead he chose to lose himself in a mixing session he had loaded on his laptop.

In that moment he gained my respect. For whatever that's worth 🤪

I've watched him over the years follow his passion and work harder and harder at improving his craft.

To say I'm not envious of his drive and untainted view towards the music business would be a lie 😉😉

What outweighs that is the respect and mutual love of the craft. Writing, producing and mixing music isn't for the faint hearted.

This old dog has learnt a few tricks over the years and still learning them. I was lucky enough to pass some of them on to Ballast.

I'm done with Spotify and TuneCore after my track was illegally added to a scam indian playlist then Spotify deleted my track accusing me of "paying for streams"
