HELP NEEDED for 3-4 weeks in Hoi An, Vietnam

Need someone with experienced kennel help for dogs and cats in an amazing beach town in Vietnam for a few weeks. Director has a family emergency and needs to help her parents get into a better situation in the states following her mom's cancer treatment.

35 animals total currently. 12 dogs & more cats, they live in a separate cat enclosure.

Duties include: Cleanup, health checks, medicating if necessary. Generally being able to acknowledge when something is wrong. Volunteers are there working but you would be in charge of management and making sure everything is run smoothly. High standards of cleanliness and understanding of isolation procedures for new intake and med cases. Pretty basic operation for anyone who has worked in a shelter.

Clean Your Own Beach Day!

Hey Everyone!

The island wide beach clean is fast approaching on Feb. 1st! We have had a really great response from locals and business owners in joining the effort! Currently the beaches that already have registered group leaders are:

1. Wok Tum Beach (One Love Bar Crew)
2. Hin Kong (From Angel's Bay on south: Ju and Nikoh Leading + Crew)
3. Hin Kong (South of Choko villa: Phangan Animal Care Crew)
4. Sri Thanu (Melissa Churchill Leading + Crew)
5. Nai Wok (Monte Vista Yoga Crew)
6. North of Thong Sala Pier (Diamong Muay Thai Crew)
7. Mac Bay and south from there (Koh Phangan Puppies Crew)
8. Secret Beach (Secret Beach Resort crew)
9. Charm Beach and on south (Charm Beach Crew)
10. Ban Tai (Pier:Sage Land and House Crew and Fish at Thips Crew)
11. Ban Tai (from Beach village on north:Ringside Crew)
12. Ban Tai (from Hard Road Beach Bar on north to be confirmed by Hard Road Crew)
13.Ban Tai (from Milky Bay on south: Kiteboarding Asia Crew)
14.Ban Tai (from Hansa south: Pablo and Hansa Crew)
15. Mer ka Ba Beach (Mer ka ba Beach Club Crew)
16. Phangan Divers will be diving and doing Trash removal most likely in Haad Rin (to be confirmed) and they are being really awesome and generous and offering to provide certified divers who want to volunteer with equipment and supervision if they want to help in the effort! Also they are willing to do a quick but thorough 20 min. course for those who aren't certified yet but want to dive to remove trash from the ocean.
17. Reefers diving are also keen on doing dive trash removal so we will discuss with them where they will be based.

Huge thanks to all of you for caring about the island and the environment!! Hopefully we get a ton of before and after photos to make people think twice before littering again!!

Now if anyone is in Choloklum, or Haad Salad, or any other area that we don't have listed and you could lead a group or want to volunteer please let us know so we can get those areas covered as well!!!!
