This is grief. Grief can be our communal rage at the intentional abdication of morality from leadership of our country. And the grief that I feel right now as an American who is not a person of color is entirely different from the grief and rage my black and brown peers feel. Their grief has no comparison. Their rage has no comparison. I’m going to lift up their grief and rage, and my own, as best I can.

It’s a devastating week for the future of our country.
