I’m over the moon to share that I’ve been awarded the 2026 Storyteller Grant to support the creation of my film, Safeguarding Giants. 🐋✨

For years, I’ve wanted to make a film. But nothing has ever felt quite as right as this.

After meeting and last season, I was captivated by their passion to better understand the importance of TCI’s waters for humpback whales, and their drive to protect them. From that moment, I knew I wanted to return and tell this story.

Filming is already underway, and over the coming weeks I’ll be sharing updates and behind-the-scenes moments from the process.

But whilst I am here I wanted to say a *BIG* thank you to the OCL team and judges for believing in me and this project. Your support means the world and will help us drive meaningful change for the whales.

Being far from home at this time of year really puts things into perspective. Distance doesn’t weaken love - it somehow makes it stronger. It always helps remind me what truly matters. For me, that’s family, good friends, and their love that holds us through it all.

So if you’re with your loved ones today, squish them extra tight for me. And thank you to all of you for being here. May this Christmas bring you peace, comfort, happiness and so much joy. ✨

Hopefully when you see these photos you’ll forgive me for not posting on here in a while… Some moments are better lived than shared in real time, and these last few weeks have been real special.
