Big news from Philly! Today, April 16, 2026, Penn President J. Larry Jameson announced the four prize-winning teams dedicated to making a lasting global impact.

Each winning project receives $100,000 in funding, plus a $50,000 living stipend for each team member!

It is our very own Nhlanhla Mavuso! 🇸🇿

From Simunye, Eswatini, to the Ivy League, Nhlanhla (STEM Club Member 2017–2019) is completing a dual degree in Physics and Computer Engineering, plus a Master’s in Electrical Engineering through the Vagelos Integrated Program in Energy Research.
