Local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are shifting the narrative from simply highlighting challenges to actively driving economic solutions.

At the recent State-Business Relations MSME Technical Workshop held at Royal Villas on Friday, 19 June 2026, important conversations took place on how to create a more supportive environment for domestic entrepreneurs. Key discussions focused on:

📊 Providing access to vital trade information

🛡️ Developing regulatory frameworks that protect local vendors so opportunities are not lost entirely to foreign corporations

Highlighting SEDCO’s proactive stance at the workshop, SEDCO’s CEO Ms, Khethiwe Mhlanga shared a powerful message on the vision for local businesses:
