BUILDING STRONGER COMMUNITIES THROUGH YOUTH-CENTERED HIV PREVENTION.

World Vision Eswatini, through , a The Global Fund supported initiative coordinated by CANGO News through the Eswatini Country Coordinating Mechanism-CCM successfully conducted a strategic Health Activation at Zombodze Emuva Inkhundla aimed at strengthening community-health facility relationships while advancing HIV prevention among Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) and Adolescent Boys and Young Men (ABYM).

This integrated intervention forms part of broader national efforts to reduce new HIV infections through biomedical, behavioral, and structural prevention approaches targeting vulnerable populations across Eswatini.

πŸ“Œ KEY FOCUS AREAS INCLUDED:
βœ” HIV Prevention Education
βœ” PrEP Awareness & Uptake
βœ” Sexual & Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR)
βœ” Condom Promotion & Distribution
βœ” Community Mobilization
βœ” Youth-Friendly Service Delivery
βœ” Stepping Stones Behaviour Change Sessions
βœ” Strengthening Clinic-Community Linkages.

Through collaboration with Family Life Association of Eswatini Mobile Clinic, Zombodze Clinic, and AHF Eswatini, the activation successfully bridged the gap between community engagement and direct clinical service provision.

The intervention created an accessible platform where young people could:
πŸ“ Receive accurate HIV prevention information
πŸ“ Access onsite HIV testing and PrEP services
πŸ“ Engage healthcare professionals directly
πŸ“ Address myths and misconceptions
πŸ“ Build trust in local health systems

This community-driven approach continues to demonstrate the importance of:
βœ… Multi-sectoral collaboration
βœ… Youth-centered programming
βœ… Accessible healthcare systems
βœ… Community-led HIV prevention
βœ… Sustainable public health interventions.

As Eswatini advances toward epidemic control, strategic initiatives such as these remain critical in strengthening prevention outcomes, improving service uptake, and creating informed, resilient communities.

Together, we are not merely conducting activations. We are transforming communities, restoring hope, strengthening systems, and protecting the future of Eswatini. πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡Ώ

πŸ“ Maguga | Day 3: Precision. Intelligence. Governance Mastery.

🚨 This is where governance becomes a science.

Day 3 opened with a high-level reflective session, where Directors articulated how the workshop has sharpened their governance intelligence, translating into institutional integrity, operational excellence, and enhanced service delivery for communities across Eswatini. 🌍

πŸ’Ό The room then transitioned into a high-intensity governance lab:

πŸ“Š Skills Matrix Development | A critical governance tool, used globally to assess board capacity, identify competency gaps, and align leadership with organisational strategy.

πŸ”₯ What followed was exceptional: Directors presented their matrices, met with robust, analytical, and strategic engagement from peers.

This was not participation. This was governance at elite level discourse.

πŸ“ˆ Outcome: Leaders equipped to build competent, balanced, and high-performing boards.

πŸ‘€ This is how institutions future-proof leadership.
