SUNDAY - 17 MAY 2026

Sermon: REV. A. MATSENJWA
Title: THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST & THE HOLY SPIRIT
Main Scripture: Romans 8:14; Acts 2:1

- The power of the Church is in the Holy Spirit.
- The Church of Jesus Christ is led by the Holy Spirit.
- The Church itself was birthed by the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:7, 8; 1 Chor. 2:14).

The traditional Church is not of Jesus Christ, but it is of nature.

The Church of Jesus Christ is led by the Holy Spirit and you can see this in the way the Church conducts itself; in speech, in dressing, in worship, and in their interactions (Joh. 4:24).
- Agape love is one of the fundamental attributes of a Church led by the Holy Spirit, because without the Holy Spirit, lovingb unconditionally is close to impossible (Joh. 3:16).

There is a problem in the Church of Jesus Christ, it stems from DRY Believers; there is Water that the Church needs, this water is the Word and the Holy Spirit.
- This water was given by Jesus, to the Samaritan woman.
- The problem is that the dry Believers are hurting the ones that are full of the Spirit, that have drunk this water.
- The Holy Spirit has been charged with the assignment to remove dryness in the Church of Jesus Christ.

To be filled with the Holy Spirit is a command in Scripture (Luk. 12: 49, 50).

YOUTH SUNDAY - 26 APRIL 2026

Sermon: ELDER R. DLAMINI
Title: HOW THE SPIRIT WORKS
Main Scripture: Galatians 5:16 - 25; 5:5

The Holy Spirit works by our faith in Christ.

The Holy Spirit takes us through a process of justifying us through righteousness so that God’s purpose is brought to fulfillment.

The Holy Spirit is at work to sanctify us. He works on our hearts, so that we may walk in the fulness of Faith.

The Holy Spirit gauges your faith. He is short circuited when your faith is not in God, and God’s grace is in vain when faith is misdirected (Gal. 2:21).

The Holy Spirit controls the law of sin and death (Rom. 7:24, 25).
- The Apostle Paul introduces another law to us; the law of the Spirit f Life in Christ (Rom. 8:2).

SUNDAY - 19 APRIL 2026

Sermon: REV. M. MATHABELA
Topic: COME AND DRINK (INVITATION TO THE LIVING WATERS)
Main Scripture: JOHN 7:37 - 39

The words of Jesus in this passage are not casual words. They are a loud invitation, a spiritual appeal, and a prophetic promise.

It was the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles a time when Israel remembered how God provided water in the wilderness. In that moment, Jesus stands and declares that He Himself is the true source of living water.

Today, many people are still thirsty spiritually, emotionally, and even physically. But Jesus still says: “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.”

Jesus begins with a condition: thirst.
This thirst is not physical it is spiritual. It represents the deep inner longing of the human soul for God, meaning, peace, and eternal life.
Notice three truths:

(a) The invitation is for “anyone”
No one is excluded rich or poor, young or old, sinner or saint.
📖 Revelation 22:17 – “Whoever is thirsty, let him come…”

(b) Thirst is evidence of spiritual awareness
A thirsty heart is a searching heart.
📖 Psalm 42:1–2 – “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for You, O God.”

(c) The invitation is personal—“come to Me”
Jesus does not point to a system, religion, or ritual. He points to Himself.
📖 Matthew 11:28 – “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened…”

Many people try to satisfy their thirst with money, relationships, pleasure, or success. But only Jesus satisfies completely.
