The film, directed by Denis Omuta and produced by Bazande Pictures Fraternity, tells a dynamic folktale that explores the norms, culture, language, customs, and traditions of this vibrant community.

Yambio Inter Area Tournament to kickoff on Sunday 8th June 2025

The organizing committee of the 2025 Yambio Inter Area Tournament has confirmed that the games will kickoff on Sunday 8th June 2025 at Yambio Freedom Square.

The Organization of Yambio Inter-Area Football Tournament time frame with 32 teams between 8th June and 15th July at Yambio Freedom Square.

The format is a group stage followed by a knockout stage. With two matches per day, this format ensures fairness, proper scheduling, and full participation within the set timeframe.

Tournament Structure:

1. Group Stage: 32 teams divided into 8 groups of 4. Each team plays 3 matches (round-robin). Top 2 teams from each group qualify.
2. Knockout Stage: 16 qualified teams compete through Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final. A third-place match is optional.
3. Tiebreakers: Points, goal difference, goals scored, head-to-head, then drawing of lots.
4. Knockout Tie resolution: Full-Time and penalties if needed.

Total Matches:

1. Group Stage: 48 matches
2. Knockout Stage: 16 matches (with the third-place match)
3. Total: 64 matches

Professional Time Frame (8 June – 15 July):

1. Group Stage (June 8 – July 1): 24 days (2 matches per day)
2. Rest Days: July 2 and July 9
3. Round of 16: July 3–6
4. Quarterfinals: July 7–8
5. Semifinals: July 10–11
6. Third-place Match: July 12
7. Final: July 13
8. Closing Ceremony: July 15

Total Duration: 36 active match days plus rest and ceremony days, fitting neatly into the 38-day window.
