Gifted Bless had this to say about his idea on the Kakwa cultural wear when he had a conversation with an undisclosed person.

“So, in the middle of a random conversation, someone hit me with, ‘What happened to the Kakwa Cultural wear you were working on?’

Good question. I’m still willing to bring it to life, but only if the community is ready to support and make it happen. Since the last time I initiated that, I got mixed reactions which to me isn’t a bad thing, but the reason why I stepped aside is that some of the “Community Leaders” claimed there are some groups who are working on the idea. Well that’s not still a bad thing. I am willing to present my concepts to a panel for vetting and the chosen idea can be adopted as our cultural wear.”

So what do you all think, should we revive this project?

‘When is the next Roots and Culture Re-Imagined?’ My answer? December. But that wasn’t all. I was also challenged to do at least two fashion shows this year.

Now, that’s a big task that I am willing to take since challenge is part of growth but I’m open to it if the support is there.
