Mortuary mix-up as two bodies of Unity State plane crash victims are mistakenly swapped

A mix-up at a mortuary in Juba led to a shocking incident this morning when the bodies of two deceased individuals were mistakenly swapped and transported to the wrong destinations.

According to family sources, the remains of the late Eng. Reat Ruot Duol were inadvertently sent to Aweil, while the body of Kuan Deng Kuan was left behind in Juba.

The confusion was discovered when family members of Eng. Reat arrived at the mortuary to confirm the body before burial. To their surprise, the remains they found did not belong to their loved one.

Efforts were immediately made to rectify the error. The flight that had carried the body to Aweil is currently en route back to Juba, returning the remains of Eng. Reat Ruot Duol to his family.

Authorities at the mortuary have not yet issued an official statement on how the mix-up occurred. Families involved are hopeful for a swift resolution to the unfortunate incident.

Bol added that last week another cattle raiding occur in Wunliet of Tonj East county leaving 3 people dead.
